Privacy Policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026

1. What we collect

Depending on how you use unflect.in, we may receive account information such as your name, email address, profile details, authentication records, account settings, and security events. If you submit a project enquiry, we collect the information you choose to provide in that form, including contact details and project context.

2. Why we use it

We use information to provide account access, authenticate users, recover accounts, respond to enquiries, operate and secure the website, prevent abuse, maintain records, and improve the service.

3. Enquiries

Project enquiries are stored as confidential business records. If you create an account, the account area may show enquiries whose submitted email address matches your confirmed account email. An account does not grant access to another person's enquiries.

4. Service providers

We may rely on infrastructure providers such as Supabase for authentication and database hosting and on hosting or email providers needed to operate the site. Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy documentation.

5. Cookies and local storage

Authentication uses secure, httpOnly session cookies so session tokens are not stored in browser local storage. The site may also use functional browser storage or cookies where needed for preferences and interface behavior.

6. Security

We use server-side validation, access controls, row-level security, rate limits, secure cookies, and other reasonable measures appropriate to the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Retention and deletion

You can request account deletion through Settings. Deleting an account removes the account profile and authentication record. Project enquiries and other business records may need to be retained where necessary for legitimate business, legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes.

8. Your choices

You can update profile information, change your password, request an account export, or delete your account from the account area. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to access, correct, restrict, object to, or request deletion of personal information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. The date above indicates the current version.

10. Contact

For privacy questions, use the contact page.

This policy is a practical starting point based on the current website architecture and should be reviewed by qualified privacy counsel for the jurisdictions in which UNFLECT operates.
